Hello and thank you for visiting my updated website; I hope you visit often to learn, grow and connect!
A little about me. I started in the real estate industry as a loan officer in the early 2000’s (you know, the time when loans were super hard to get and regulated heavily? (gulp)). My heart was never in that niche and I saw the writing on the wall, so when a former landlord and real estate investor offered me a position to work for him as an assistant, I jumped at the opportunity. What I didn’t realize is, that would start the path of a decade of working behind the scenes for other real estate investors. While the economy was crashing, the groups I worked alongside were thriving, inventing and I was learning everything from property management, fixing and flipping, resale, short sales, pre-foreclosures, distressed real estate, creative disposition and a little of everything in between.
In 2012 I made a decision to branch off on my own. Let me share something….no amount of ‘back of house’ experience can train you for what entrepreneurship/business ownership is really like. For 6 years and counting I was finding, rehabbing and selling my own inventory, purchasing rentals along the way, running a small team, all while navigating an ever-changing and competitive market. (Thank you to my amazing hairdresser for covering the gray hair!)
Now, I’m switching gears to build upon my background, share what I know and focus more on building an abundant life rather than just building business.
P. S. There’s a lot of people claiming to be real estate flipping gurus; I am not one of them. However, I have been in the trenches, ran my own team, projects, bought and sold millions of dollars of my own homes, ran a business and help grow others business’ too. I’m also blessed to have been featured in industry blogs, magazines, podcasts and local features as well. Now, I want to share what I know and help you grow too.
If you have the vision, focus and drive to create the life you deserve through real estate investing, you’ve come to the right place. Let’s build something together.
